Three Nations. One goal.

Published: 17/08/22 | CATEGORY: Women Entrepreneurship | AUTHOR: ACF

We’re delighted to continue our Women Entrepreneurship Programme in Wales, Ghana, and Saudi Arabia, thanks to our funders and collaborating partners: Cardiff University in Wales, CEED in Ghana, and our partners in Saudi Arabia.

Our programme provides free, online courses to help women turn their micro and small business ideas into commercially viable realities.

The courses cover: assessing yourself as a business person, assessing your business idea, conducting market research, developing a business plan, accessing finance, and everything in between.

What is our goal?

Our goal is to enable and empower aspiring women entrepreneurs across the world.

Everyone faces barriers when it comes to starting a business, but women especially come up against greater challenges — and this is a common thread across nations.

We truly believe that entrepreneurship has the ability to strengthen communities, grow economies, narrow the financial gender gap and help eradicate poverty.

By enabling women to become their own bosses and achieve financial freedom, we can help transform communities and change the world.

Why is our international reach important?

Although the majority of our work happens in Wales and the UK, we’re committed to sharing our ACF products, knowledge, and services across the world.

Economic inequality and financial exclusion are global issues — only made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic. In line with our values of benevolence and generosity, and our focus on individuals excluded from mainstream support, tackling these issues beyond our own doorstep is important to us.

We know that by making our resources go further, sharing our skills and capabilities, and partnering with international organisations, we can help ensure worldwide economic growth within communities.

Want to support our mission?

We can only do what we do through the generosity of public, private and corporate organisations, as well as individual donors.

Whether you want to collaborate or partner with us, or simply send us a one-off donation — there are many ways you can get involved. Click here to see how.
