Our Vision

At ACF, our vision is to support people from ethnic minority backgrounds to access the guidance, training and finance they need to realise their entrepreneurial dreams. We focus firmly on women and young people and have designed our programmes to fill the gap other business support packages are unable to offer.

Fundamentally, ACF is a social innovation model that helps people to work their way to equality through entrepreneurship.

Why we’re fundraising

ACF runs on donations and funding from corporate partners, government initiatives, and everyday people. Our entire financial model is built on benevolence — the idea that when we share our wealth to help others succeed, we can create a fairer and financially sustainable society.

We use donations to provide:

– Digital support programmes focused on entrepreneurial mindset, business fundamentals, one to one mentoring and gaining access to our community and partners.

– A pool of resources that beneficiaries can access throughout their business journey, such as interest free finance which helps them focus on their business without the burden of accumulative debt.

– Outreach and community events to spread the message of support throughout rural parts of Wales and other parts of the world.

Giving Tuesday

It’s no coincidence that our life-changing fundraising campaign is launching now. November is the month of Giving Tuesday — a global day of giving that encourages people to do good. More than that, it’s a movement to ‘reimagine a world built upon shared humanity and radical generosity.’

Generosity is at the heart of what we do. That’s why, with Giving Tuesday just around the corner on 29 November, we’re working together with thousands of other organisations to share the message of good-will.

Helping people — especially those excluded from mainstream support — realise their business dreams is just the beginning. The wider impact of enabling entrepreneurship on our society and economy is far-reaching.

We know that innovation and entrepreneurship is a legitimate way out of poverty. Unfortunately, along with several other factors, many people in our community are faced with financial exclusion, restricting them from accessing the support they need to launch their business.

Enterprises that will strengthen our communities and grow our economy, aren’t given the opportunity to start.
