Recognising the critical role of digital skills in business success, we at ACF, in collaboration with CEED, are launching the Digital Literacy Programme to empower women entrepreneurs in Ghana. Sponsored by the Welsh Government and WCVA, this initiative is designed for women who have recently launched or are looking to start micro and small businesses, and are seeking to harness digital tools for business growth. The programme aims to equip participants with essential digital skills to enhance their online presence, engage with customers, and drive their business forward.

The ACF Digital Literacy Programme is designed for women who are eager to understand the digital tools available for business development and customer engagement. Whether you are struggling with social media for business promotion or aspiring to engage with customers online, this programme offers the necessary skills, training, advice, and mentoring to help you succeed in the digital space and catapult your business.

What the course covers

The comprehensive course spans eight weeks, with two-hour sessions each week, and covers a wide range of topics to ensure participants gain a solid understanding of digital literacy:

– Introduction to digital literacy — Learn the fundamental skills and competencies required to thrive in the digital world.

– Strategies for business growth — Discover effective strategies to create awareness and engage your target audience.

– Social media for business promotion — Understand how to leverage social media platforms to enhance your online presence and promote your business.

– E-commerce and online sales — Explore the world of e-commerce and learn how to sell your products online.

– Content marketing and online presence — Master content marketing techniques and learn how to assess and improve your online presence.

– Illustrative examples — Gain insights from real-world examples of successful digital presence and engagement.

Time: 1 – 3pm, Wednesdays (Ghana time)
Location: Online (Zoom)
